Petricore’s Newest R&D Project!
As technology continues to advance, it revolutionizes the way we perceive and interact with information. While our society progresses in developing futuristic technologies, it is crucial to honor our past. Fortunately, technological advancements now enable us to connect with history more effortlessly than ever before. Imagine being able to engage in real-time conversations with historical figures long since passed.
For a Research & Development project, Petricore wanted to recreate President John F. Kennedy, providing an opportunity for those less familiar with this political figure to gain deeper insights. Petricore’s Software Developer, Tate Donnelly, helped us accomplish just that. Leveraging the power of the Unity Engine and Inworld.AI, we were able to successfully create an AI persona of JFK, allowing it to access reputable online information and learn about John F. Kennedy in real time.
When approaching this project our goal was how can we make a fun, engaging, and immersive learning experience. Looking back to our past and using the technology we have access to now, we were able to take the iconic televised presidential debate between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon, a historic moment in itself, and use that as the foundation for reconstructing JFK’s voice.
The program that we used to bring this political figure’s voice to life was Elevenlabs. Inworld.AI helped seamlessly sync it with the character model, and was also the tool used to host and help the AI gain access to information online. The model itself was created with Ready Player Me. Thanks to all of these tools we are able to create an interactive learning experience. You can talk to the model in real time or type out any questions to which the model will respond and answer those questions in real time. Check out the demo below!
This groundbreaking technology presents a new perspective on teaching history, catering to generations who did not witness those times firsthand. By bridging the gap between past and present, we can now explore historical events in an immersive and engaging manner. At Petricore, we pride ourselves on being experts in that emerging technology and can help shape that future.
