Shopping Spree

Originally developed in 2015, Shopping Spree is one of Petricore’s earliest virtual reality projects. Built using an Oculus Rift DK2 with a Leap Motion controller mounted to the front for hand tracking, the game explored natural hand interactions years before consumer VR headsets offered built-in hand tracking.
More than a decade later, we revisited the project and rebuilt it for the Meta Quest platform with improved visuals, modern performance, expanded gameplay, and native hand tracking. Shopping Spree serves as both a fun arcade experience and a look back at how far VR technology—and our studio—has evolved over the past decade.
