Meet the Crew Monday

Ace, Dog Pilot

In this series of posts you’ll get a chance to meet each of our dog pilots in our upcoming game Operation DogFight. First up this week, is our fearless flyer Ace!

Question #1) Please tell us a little about yourself, who is Ace?

I’m glad you asked! Ace is me! I am Ace! At the academy I was known as AAA, Aerial-Acrobatics Ace. I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been known for absolutely destroying some long lasting flight records. No one flies like I can, just try to outmaneuver me!

Question #2) What kind of plane do you fly in?

What a good boy

I fly a Vought F4U Corsair, all day, every day. I’ve been told I’m too young and inexperienced to fly such a difficult plane, and that I’ll never be able to handle it, but I’m determined to prove everyone wrong.

Question #3) What makes you want to take to the skies?

I’ve read in books that our ancestors used to participate in agility competitions on the ground… using their LEGS. Can you imagine that? Why? There’s no better way to compete than in a plane, flying faster than the rest, swooping around the pack, all while in the sky! Oh, I guess catching some cats in the process is also an added bonus. They brag so much about how anything above 5 feet is their domain. Think again furballs!

Question #4) What’s your Favorite toy?

Mmm…. my favorite toy? That’s a tough one. I don’t have one particular toy, but I dig anything that squeaks. Annoying my family is the absolute greatest thing, ever.

Question #5) Where do you most like to fly your plane?

I fly anywhere that provides me with an agility challenge. Give me caves, give me canyons, give me anything just wide enough for me to get my plane through and I’m there.

Question #6) Who’s a good boy?

Is this even a question? Me, of course! Did Jack [Ace’s  brother] tell you it was him? He did, didn’t he. Hmph.

Question #7) There’s a lot of weapons for you to choose from, what’s your favorite for aerial combat?

He can dance!

I’m a fan of our dual Tennis Ball Machine Guns. Not only do they shoot fast, but they bounce all over the place on impact! How hilarious is that?

Question #8) When you’re not flying, what are some activities you enjoy doing?

Would you believe me if I said I dance in my down time?

Question #9) Fetch, Frisbee, or Feline Fighting?

Following felines fighting, fetching frisbees!

Question #10) When it’s time to retire from the skies, what would you like to be remembered for?

I have quite a long time ahead of me before I even think about retiring, but when I do, I’d like to be remembered for my aerobatics. Maybe I’ll inspire other pups, like myself, to challenge themselves. Ground agility was for our ancestors, air agility is our future!

Question #11) Thanks for your time Ace, anything you want to plug before you go?

Operation Dogfight is coming out in 2021, so go wishlist it on steam! Wishlist Now.
